• Considering what modeling and talent agencies often charge to represent you, our fees are minimal, yet provides exposure for you WORLDWIDE. If you are currently represented by an agent, this should not interfere with any contract. Our purpose is simply to provide another resource to help you find work and/or direct more traffic to your personal website (if you have one). You determine what contact information is shown (e-mail link, address, and/or phone number) to you and/or your agent.
• "Is there any fee involved?" There is a one-time set-up fee and a maintenance fee of only $1.00 (USD) per month, paid annually.
• "I can sign up at plenty of FREE sites, so why do you charge a fee?" Good Question! For more on this, click here!
• "Why do I need Shamrock Models if I have my own website?" You don't ... some models may do well without us. What we do know is that over 250,000 hits per month are received at our primary site ... the majority of those within our models section.
• You can SIGN UP ON LINE by filling out the confidential form. We DO NOT provide this information to anyone. When we are contacted, with any kind of offer, we forward the person or organization's contact information to you. It is up to YOU to make contact.
• "What do you charge as a percentage, if I find work through your site?" NOTHING! We are not an agent! We do not charge you, or the agency wishing to make contact, any fee ... at any time.
• The information you provide us (to contact you) remains confidential other than that which you instruct us to display on your page.
• If you presently maintain a web site, we will be glad to include a link, but we must be able to add information and photos on our site. We will not consider simply a straight link to your site from the photo on our main page.
• You must provide us with copyright information on any photos you provide, which will be displayed. If you have exlusive rights to these photos, then we show you as the copyright holder.

WHY SHAMROCK MODELS CHARGES A FEE!

There are several reasons.

• Free model sites depend mostly on banner advertising for their revenue. If you keep up with Wall Street news, many dot-com companies, who made millions this way, are failing miserably and advertisers are dropping like flies. We have been in the Internet business since 1995 and one of the first to use that method ... Shamrock Creations ... was also one of the first to create an extensive modeling site. We now see the need to go back to fee-based services, but we also urge you to utilize these other sites (while they are still free) as well. You can never have too much publicity!
• In case you are not aware, we www.shopaugusta.com/models is not a sub-directory of some freebie website like GeoCities. Shopaugusta.com is OUR website ... and is the primary site for our business ventures, plus we have several other domains that are serviced through us.
• Something else you may like to know ... the owner of Shamrock Creations is not just some guy who decided to create a web page for good looking people. He is a serious businessman who also works as the Network/Web Administrator at a military base handling two major web servers for the entire installation.
• Aside from that, using his 33-plus years experience in broadcasting, he also writes a daily country music news service (show preparation service) for radio disc jockeys across the United States. His experince brings him in touch with stars like Dolly Parton, Gary Allan, The Kinleys, Montgomery Gentry, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Lace, and Bobbie Eakes. Each day, country stations depend on this service from New Jersey to California ... from Montana to Florida!
• Okay, back to the subject at hand! Our site provides for larger displayed than most of the other modeling sites. Our fee also goes back to this line of economics! The larger the photo, the larger the size of the file stored on the web server. With the number of models, on our site, and receiving over 250,000 HITS EACH MONTH, we pay extra for disk space and bandwidth.
• We have found, in talking with legitimate modeling and talent agencies, they have no real interest in perusing the numerous sites that require contact through an unknown webmaster, or the site primarily features (Vote For Me) modeling contests. Nothing wrong with these sites, it is just they are designed for people to look at (mostly) women in sexy poses. Serious agents/agencies have no interest in these sites, as a rule. To put it bluntly, as one agent told us, "They're nothing but T&A sites".
• To carry this a step further, serious models and/or talent are willing to pay a reasonable fee in an effort to further their career. Models think nothing of paying hundreds of dollars for photos and portfolios. A one-time fee of $25 for a web page (includes the first year) and renewed annually at $12 (USD) per year is nothing for the serious model. In comparison, if you came to us (Shamrock Creations), for a business related web page, design of your first page starts at $150 (USD) and that is without photos. Additional photos, logos, and other options can run up several hunded dollars real fast. You also would pay a monthly fee ($25.00 - $50.00 per month) for the web page hosting. Our fee ... for models ... is a STEAL!
• We do have models using us as a link to draw traffic to their own sites for which THEY charge a membership fee and/or sell personalized items at a rate considerably higher than what we charge them.
